Opal Magic #1038 is the yarn I used for these great socks. It has a very long pattern repeat so finding the start for the next sock is going to be fun! My daughter bought me this yarn as an early Mother's Day gift because I had been talking about wanting to try it. I didn't find the yarn itself to be much different in texture or quality but the colorways are certainly different.

Great sock! I also love the Magic colorway. Did up a pair with 1044, the browns, and found the oranges, 1038. My old school color and perfect for alumni events.
