Fell off the wagon
Ok so I did get one pair finished before I started another. I just couldn't resist trying out the new kit and I'm almost to the heel flap now on that sock! I wore the new Opals to work today and got lots of comments, not everyone understands the theraputic value of sock knitting though. Some thought they were really great while others couldn't seem to get past the idea that I would knit socks or that you would knit socks in those colors!

Gorgeous socks! I actually have several balls of this very yarn in this very color. My daughters go to Auburn University and these are their colors...big football school. I thought I would knit "football" socks for everyone in our family. My husband and I will wear ours while we watch the games at home. They are also Denver Bronco colors so he can wear them while he watches those games. We live up in the Rocky mtns and I'm sure they will keep our feet warm....not sure if my Auburn girls will like wearing wool socks in ALABAMA..LOL Thanks for posting your pics...it has inspired me to get going on them.
Oh....I forgot to mention that I get the same reactions from people about knitting socks. Some raise their eyebrows and question why I would want to do such a thing. If only they knew how addicted we are to it..they would REALLY think us batty.
