United Way Afghan

I finished the afghan that I said I would donate for a raffle for the United Way. It didn't have to be done until the end of October but I have 5 pairs of socks to do before Christmas so getting it finished and out of the way is a good feeling. I found the pattern in the back of a book of afghans put out by Vanna White. It's called Zipper Tape and went quite quickly. I may do this pattern again when I have time.

Oh I love all of your work....Dont you just love Mile-a-minute crochet?.....I just wish I could still crochet as much as I knit.....Arthritis has not been my friend over the years.....

I hope your blanket does well in the raffle....I made one for March of Dimes many years ago while working at a plant.....I was able to raise $1200 with my afgahn....It was a strip type afgahn with rose buds down each panel...Beautiful if I say so myself...One man wanted it so bad he bought $70 worth of tickets and actually won it for his mother....She was so happy to get it.....
